Who we are
Grand Strand RVs (grandstrandrvs.com) is a free local marketplace for buying and selling used RVs, RV lots and towing gear on the Grand Strand and along Hwy 17 to Wilmington. We serve people in the United States only. Questions about this policy: email info@grandstrandrvs.com or text 910-250-8803.
What we collect
- Sellers: your name, email address, listing details and photos. Your email is never shown on the public listing.
- Buyers: your name, email address, an optional phone number, and the messages you send to sellers.
- Mobile number for text alerts: only if you add it in your seller dashboard and turn text alerts on.
- Sign-in cookie: one cookie that keeps you signed in to your dashboard. We do not use advertising cookies.
- Basic technical data: your internet address is checked to keep out spam and non-US submissions.
How we use it
We use your information to publish your listing, pass messages between buyers and sellers without showing anyone's email or phone number, send sign-in links, send listing renewal reminders, and keep the site free of scams and spam. We do not sell your information.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the site for us: our web host and email provider (Hostinger), our text message provider (Twilio) if you turn on text alerts, and our card processor (Stripe) if you pay for extra photos. They may use your information only to provide that service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text message opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.
Text message (SMS) terms
- What you get: Grand Strand RVs seller alerts. We text you when a buyer sends a message about your listing. No marketing texts.
- How you sign up: sign in to your seller dashboard, enter your US mobile number, and check “Text me new messages.” Text alerts are off unless you turn them on.
- How often: message frequency varies with how many buyers write to you.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- To stop: reply STOP to any text, or uncheck the box in your dashboard. Reply HELP for help, or text 910-250-8803.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Keeping or deleting your information
Listings stay up for 60 days unless you renew them, mark them sold, or ask us to remove them. To change or delete your information, sign in to your dashboard or email info@grandstrandrvs.com and we will take care of it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
