Murrells Inlet is a fishing-village market: buyers often want a coach they can stage near the MarshWalk for weekend trips, or a unit coming off a seasonal site at Huntington Beach State Park. Private listings here convert because they are closer to Georgetown County than the North Strand dealer row.
Mobile techs based in the Inlet can meet you on-site. Start with our Grand Strand repair directory.
Buying or selling an RV in Murrells Inlet
This page covers Murrells Inlet, Garden City and Pawleys Island along Hwy 17. Tag a listing Murrells Inlet when that is where a buyer would come to see it, even if the mailing address says something else. Local buyers search by town, and an honest pickup spot saves everyone a wasted drive.
Selling here
Lead with the photos buyers ask about first: the roof, the slides, the floor near the door and the tires. Say where the RV is parked, whether it is on a site at Huntington Beach State Park and the South Strand parks, and whether a buyer can see it on short notice. Check what similar RVs are asking in our weekly Grand Strand price report before you set a number, and read the prep guide to get it ready.
Buying here
Salt air is hard on frames, hitches and roof seals, so look underneath and on top, not only inside. Ask for the title in the seller's name, meet in person, and never wire money or pay a "shipping agent". Our used RV buying guide and payment safety guide walk through it.
Parking, staying and gear
Many neighborhoods here do not allow an RV in the driveway, so line up a spot before you buy: compare RV storage, long-term campsites, or an RV lot from our beach lots and on-site RVs page. Tow dollies, hitches and surge protectors are in towing and camping gear. Nearby areas: Surfside Beach and Myrtle Beach.
